Well, it has been about six months since my last post on Picture Perfect isn't Easy. I can definitely start off by saying how much I have learned since then. I started this blog for my J2150: Multimedia class in the fall and have since completed J2100: News writing. It was probably one of the most stressful classes that I have experienced so far in the Journalism school. Filled with AP Style, grammar and learning about how to be a journalistic writer compared to a creative writer. It didn't help that I was doing my creative writing fiction class at the same time. I do think that it was helpful in terms of learning what I wanted my voice to sound like and how I wanted to approach writing.

For now, I'm starting my next step at the MU journalism school with J4450: Reporting. I have a feeling its going to be even worse than the last year combined. Yay! And it's all condensed to a tight seven week period. At least I'll have something to look forward to in the fall with my photography classes and some of the extra gen. ed. requirements that I will have to take care of.

My Sociology class isn't going to bad either. While most people that I have talked to are a little flabbergasted when I mention it, but studying about gender through sociology has been pretty interesting. My blog is actually one of my favorite parts of the class. I have gotten to find a lot of things that surround Disney and some of the experiences that I have gone through in high school which make so much more sense now. We'll see how it turns out in the end but I'm pretty sure it will turn out well.

Well that's it for now! Hopefully I'll have a bit more success in keeping things up to date this semester in terms of consistency but we'll see.
